Both versions now allow users to tag favorite tracks for quick access and have introduced a color-coding system to differentiate between crates more effectively. Additionally, the library now displays more track information, such as crate duration, size, and track count, making it easier for users to manage their music collection.

Moreover, individual tracks can now be rated using an emoji-based system, enabling users to assign ratings out of five stars or other emojis like watermelons, ghosts, or bombs. Serato DJ 4 also includes enhanced right-click functionality in the library, enabling quicker access to track information and editing within the crate interface.

The update also introduces a new filtering system to facilitate faster track location. Serato DJ Pro now features advanced search tools that allow users to unearth tracks based on specific input information, enhancing the overall user experience and efficiency in track management.

Furthermore, the software now automatically analyzes tracks upon import and can analyze tracks while remaining connected to hardware. The update also bridges the gap between tracks imported from a user’s collection and those added from streaming services, allowing both types to be included in the same crates.
