This expansive facility, opening on June 21, 2025, near the Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station, offers a diverse range of amenities spanning 1,571 square meters. The venue merges cutting-edge gaming setups with culinary options, merchandise stores, communal spaces, and coaching programs tailored to enhance the gaming lifestyle.
The gaming zone boasts 252 state-of-the-art stations featuring top-tier components such as NVIDIA RTX 5070 graphics cards, LG UltraGear monitors, Logitech peripherals, and premium SIDIZ gaming chairs. Backed by high-speed internet connectivity, Gen.G has invested significantly in hardware to create an engaging environment for casual players and esports enthusiasts alike.
Collaborating with Superplay, a renowned game and esports IP management firm, GGX stands out as a dynamic platform for immersive experiences. The venue’s design and functionality have been shaped through partnerships with industry leaders like Ottogi, Monster Energy, and SIDIZ. G.ROUND, the food and beverage section, offers a specially curated menu in conjunction with Ottogi, while the MD store stocks exclusive Gen.G merchandise and collaborative items.
GGX’s community lounge, designed to accommodate over 100 guests, provides a welcoming space for social interactions and events. Additionally, the venue will host skill development classes and personal training sessions facilitated by former professional players from Gen.G Global Academy. These programs encompass strategic workshops, aim-training drills, and teamwork exercises, aiming to enhance players’ competitive edge.
Operated by Superplay, GGX joins a lineage of successful esports venues like T1 Basecamp Hongdae and KT Rolster R Café.
