SOFTSWISS has integrated machine learning into its responsible gambling practices, with a significant focus on managing gambling cases in 2025. The company’s Risk Scoring Tool, powered by machine learning algorithms, aims to identify and address risky player behavior within regulated markets. This tool plays a crucial role in helping operators meet regulatory standards by detecting early signs of problematic gambling activity.
Between January and June 2025, the Responsible Gambling (RG) team at SOFTSWISS processed approximately 16,000 cases, encompassing self-exclusion requests, proactive interventions, and behavioral assessments. In addition to these actions, the team conducted routine monitoring and compliance evaluations across various jurisdictions to ensure operators’ adherence to guidelines.
As part of its 2025 responsible gambling initiatives, SOFTSWISS introduced bilingual training modules for frontline support and customer relationship management teams. These modules were designed to uphold consistent player interaction protocols. The RG unit collaborated closely with departments such as Anti-Money Laundering, Legal, and Complaints to establish a unified approach in addressing player protection issues.
Emilia Kurzynska, Team Lead of Responsible Gambling at SOFTSWISS, emphasized the company’s commitment to prioritizing player well-being in all operational processes. The increasing number of responsible gambling cases indicates a growing awareness within the industry, prompting the development of effective tools and interventions to support operators effectively.
SOFTSWISS reiterated its dedication to responsible gambling as a cornerstone of its operational philosophy. The company plans to showcase its initiatives at the SiGMA Central Europe Summit 2025, scheduled for November 3–6. Attendees at Stand 4016 G can engage in discussions on collaborative opportunities, industry best practices, and insights from the upcoming 2026 iGaming Trends Report.
Furthermore, participants will have the chance to experience a live car assembly activity and explore new solutions developed within SOFTSWISS’s responsible gambling framework. The company’s ongoing efforts underscore its commitment to fostering a safe and sustainable gambling environment for players and operators alike.
