If you’ve never heard of Google Alerts, then hold onto whatever you’re sitting on, because you’re about to hear something awesome – why is it awesome? It’s going to improve the way to source out information on the Internet. Lets call it the lazy smart man’s way!
Ok, so am I hyping this up for nothing? No at all. Am I going to deliver on improving the way you use the Interent – you bet.
The beauty of Google Alerts is the very thing it was created for. Through this service offered by Google, you can get email updates of the latest relevant Google results, whether that be through web, news, blogs, video and group results.
What that means is that anything that Google puts in their index will be sent to you… If you use this service.
How? Easy… Enter the topic you wish to monitor, then click preview to see the type of results you’ll receive. Some handy uses of Google Alerts include:
- Keep track of each time your name is mentioned online
- Monitoring a developing news story about your sports betting agency
- Keep tabs on sports teams and results
- … and a whole lot more. You’re only limited by your imagination
So do you think that might improve the way you use the Internet? Yes…? I thought so! It made a big difference for me too.
I use Google Alerts in many more ways then just for sports betting. I have my name as an alert, I have family names in there too, particular companies, websites and people that I’m interested in. I even have my address in there!
Basically anything related to me and the things that I’m interested in I’ve added.
Go on, start your own Google Alerts

Never heard of Google Alerts. Thanks for the write up Ayden!
The tool is invaluable to me, and as a matter of fact, I have about 5 Google Alerts in my inbox right now
SHort, but great write up. Cheers
This is the first blog I read on my new Ipad. I’ll be back.
